4D Tools - Repair Routines
Inside 4D Tools press the Repair tab:
Begin repair by pressing the Repair All button. This will do a quick repair of your 4D data file. If the check is OK, your done. If not run 4D Tools Recover by Tags by pressing the Recover button.
Remember, when you Recover by Tags a pair of new data files is created, (Fire_PS_2.4dd and Fire_PS_2.4dr). It is necessary to move the old data files from the FirePoint folder (Fire_PS.4dd & Fire_PS.4dr) and then remove the extra "_2" from the newly data files created by 4D Tools. The titles of the new data files should now match the titles of the old data files. Note: Sometimes a new Fire_PS_2.4dr file is not produced. If there is no new Fire_PS_2.4dr simply leave the original in the FirePoint folder.
Exit 4D Tools and restart FirePoint.
