Here's How to Start 4D Tools
Begin by exiting FirePoint. FirePoint should not be running when you run 4D Tools.
4D Tools has been provided in a folder called Utilities. The folder is installed inside your FirePoint application folder for Single and Sync versions of FirePoint. The Utilities folder can be located inside your FirePoint Server folder on your 4D Server PC.
Double-click on the Utility folder. You will see two folders. Double-click on the 4D Tools folder to open it.
Inside the 4D Tools folder double-click on the 4D Tools executable.
When 4D Tools opens, it wants you to locate the Fire_PS.4dc file found in all FirePoint versions. To find this file begin by making the selection at the bottom of the file selection box as illustrated below:
Now locate the Fire_PS.4dc file and double-click on it to open your FirePoint database in 4D Tools.
